Signal Booster Registration

As of March 1, 2014, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) established regulations for cell signal boosters used by consumers. These regulations were created to make it easier for carriers to prevent and/or correct any problems caused by failing boosters or boosters that are incorrectly configured. It’s good to let your carrier know that you’re using a signal booster in case it happens to affect their cell tower, although it’s very unlikely with automatic gain control boosters. Registering a booster will not affect your monthly rates or service plan. Please contact your carrier if you have questions.

These regulations state that 1. Cell boosters must be approved by wireless carriers and 2. Signal booster registration is required for all existing and new boosters. You are required to register your cell booster with your cellular service provider. PRO·CELL cell boosters are FCC-certified and preapproved by all cellular carriers, so registering your booster is simple.
